David Lee, Head of Product for AI agent products

I shape and build AI agents people can trust to act for them. Right now that's Fello at CoinFello.

AI products: Agent design, guardrails and delegated permissions, MCP servers and agent skills, evals and benchmarks, AI vendor evaluation, conversational UX.

Fello

Head of Product, CoinFello (formerly HyperPlay)

The first DeFi agent that isn't limited to a preset list of actions. It works with smart contracts directly, so you can ask in plain language and it acts inside limits you set.

$815,000+agent-executed volume

  • Led Fello from preset tools and one-off integrations to async automations across three major versions in six months.
  • Designed how people stay in control: they choose how much Fello does on its own, and it acts unattended only from a separate wallet they fund.
  • Rebuilt onboarding around a plan people approve before anything moves.

Cami

Fractional Head of Product, Privé (formerly TravelMoney)

A shopping agent that finds you the best deals on luxury goods. They're sourced directly from Europe to pass along the tax savings, then shipped straight to your door in the US.

2,400+signups in under 10 months

  • Led product for Cami, an AI personal shopper customers text on iMessage.
  • Reset product direction as the business evolved from TravelMoney into Privé.
  • Extended Cami to other AI assistants, such as Grok Bot, through an MCP server.

I've worked with

What I'm tinkering with

  • Norae

House karaoke with no songbook. Search any song on Spotify and Norae learns it on the spot: lyrics, timing, and all. Any TV is the stage, your phone is the mic, and friends join by QR.

norae.me (opens in a new tab)
  • Zeek

My second brain, running on the Mac mini on my desk. It keeps my sessions in Claude Code, Grok Bot, and Cursor in sync in near real time, and texts me action items the moment it catches them.

  • My agent team

A marketer, a staff engineer, a head of product, and a designer, all running as Grok Bot agents. They're wired into Slack too, so I can @ one in a thread and it answers there as itself.

  • This site

I built this with Claude Code and Grok Bot. Both got the same brief, and I kept the parts I liked from each. The rest was me talking at them, sending screenshots, and taking photos of my desk so they'd get the water bottle right.

A sneak peek at how I work every day

This is my desk. Pick anything on it to see what it does for me.

A white desk with a wood riser, an ultrawide monitor on an arm, a portable monitor, a Mac mini in a retro case with a USB mic, an iPhone on a charging stand showing a photo of a beagle, and a to-do card.

Everyday windows

My main screen, for all my usual windows: Arc Browser, Slack, Wispr Flow, Spotify, plus a few more.

AI work

A single dedicated monitor for all my AI agent needs. It's where I manage the agents I build and collaborate with, using Grok Bot, Claude Code, and Cursor.

Second brain

The retro case holds my Mac mini, which runs the Hermes Agent harness. That's where I set up my second brain, with Zeek as my personal assistant.

A USB mic lets me use Wispr Flow here too. It honestly 10x'd my speed.

About

My iPhone, docked and charging. I sometimes tap it just to see which photo of my beagle, Yuna, Apple dug up today.
